2014 Year End Roundup
2014 DEACON WEALTH MANAGEMENT YEAR END ROUNDUP/ 2015 KICKOFF
Hello Folks,
I am sitting here grateful, reflective, and hopeful as we end 2014, and move into 2015.
I am grateful for the support of our clients and friends of Deacon Wealth Management. You all have helped us to achieve another record year of growth in our business. We cannot thank you enough for the wonderful relationships that we enjoy with you all. Helping you is why we exist.
I am grateful for our associates, Laura Koval and Patty Schnell, who work to make our business operate smoothly for our clients.
I am also grateful for the many non-financial blessings we receive as we work toward helping our clients achieve their goals. We thrive on your friendship and interaction with our firm.
2014 has also been bittersweet. This year we lost our namesake, Deacon.
Deacon passed away on October 16, 2014. He is no longer with us, but his memory and our goals to live up to his prevailing traits live on.
His passing made us pause and remember some of the simple, important things about life like: greet each day with a smile, make friends, do what you are good at, and let someone know that you love them.
We are hopeful that 2015 will result in additional growth in service levels for our clients and our firm. In the fall of 2014, we made a commitment to upgrade our internal processes, systems, and marketing efforts. You have probably seen some of these improvements in your more recent interactions with our website (and phone app!), and our eMoney systems. If you have not checked them out, please take a look at: www.deaconwealth.com. We hope that you enjoy the improvements that we are making on your behalf.
We will be back on the road early in 2015, starting in January, holding our annual Market Outlook event. The date, time, and location are currently pending.
Our Rejuvenate Your Retirement Classes will also be kicking off again in late January at Germanna Community College, and again through the Stafford County Parks and Recreation Department beginning in early February.
More details will follow on each of these events. Stay tuned to our website for dates and times. We hope that you and your families are blessed abundantly in 2015.
Sincerely,
Darryl G. Barnes, President
